Winter Classes at Unique One
Currently no winter classes are scheduled for the 2008 winter season; however, please keep checking back, as it is possible that Beth will be able to schedule a few classes at some point this winter! You can always call the store (1-888-691-8358 toll free; local 236-8717) and check in -- or to request a class! If enough people request a particular class, it is more likely to be offered. Beth is willing to offer a class if 6 or more people are interested in signing up to learn a particular skill together.
Unique One Weekly Knitting Groups -- Free and Open to the Public!
Like to knit? Please join in one of our weekly knitting groups, held at Unique One:
- Beginning knitters group -- meets Thursdays, 6 to 8 p.m. This is for people who are just getting started in knitting. This group is a little smaller than our regular group that meets on Wednesdays. Victoriea leads the Thursday night's beginner group.
- "Regular" knitting circle -- meets Wednesdays, 6 to 9 p.m. This group has been going for about 9 years, and it is larger and a bit more boisterous than the Thursday group. While ALL levels of knitters are welcome and can be seen in this group, one can also attend this group as a beginner. Anyone who wants help with their knitting
can attend this group and get the help they need, no matter how big or how small the problem is, or how advanced the level of the project that needs help. Beth leads this group and will try to answer all your questions.
No registration or fee is necessary to attend these groups; just show up some time during the meeting and you'll get helped in the order that questions are asked. Or, just come hang out and knit with us!
